Skill assessment is designed to evaluate your proficiency in specific areas relevant to the role you’re applying for. It allows employers to objectively measure your skills and capabilities, ensuring that you have the necessary qualifications to succeed in the position.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Executive Assistant Skill Assessment for Virtual Assistant Applicants

Welcome to the Executive Assistant Assessment! This assessment will evaluate your skills in business writing, calendar management, flight and hotel booking. Please carefully read the instructions for each section before proceeding.

Instructions:

  1. Download the Answer sheet doc below, and insert all necessary responses based on the tasks below (see pdf).
  2. Please record your process using https://www.screencapture.com/, kindly choose the screen and camera when answering and completing the assessment.
  3. Add the recording link to the bottom of your answer sheet.
  4. Save the answer sheet in a PDF format with this file name (Name + Date + EA Skill Assessment).
  5. In the Google Drive Folder shared with Virtual Elves, create a sub-folder name it: EA Assessment Answer Sheet and upload it.
  6. Once completed please email the recruitment team to hiring@virtualelves.com, to let us know you have completed the Assessment.

Assessment Submission schedule: Within 24 hours upon receipt of the instructions from Virtual Elves.

Section 2: Social Media Content Creation

Task: Write a compelling social media post for FitLifestyle’s Instagram account promoting a 7-day fitness challenge.

  • Capture the audience’s attention and encourage participation.
  • Include clear instructions on how to join the challenge.
  • Utilize appropriate hashtags and mentions.
  • Take a screenshot of this post and add the image to your answer sheet

Section 5: Writing and Uploading a Blog Article on WordPress

Objective: Write a blog article and publish it on a WordPress site using a dummy account if necessary.

Write the Article:

  • Create a blog article with a minimum of 500 words.
  • Use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Include an introduction, body, and conclusion.
  • Add at least one relevant image to enhance the article.
  • Ensure the content is original and free of plagiarism.

Create a Dummy WordPress Account:

  • If you don’t have access to a WordPress account, create a dummy account.
  • Go to WordPress.com and sign up for a free account.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your blog.

Upload the Article:

  • Log in to your WordPress account.
  • Navigate to the Dashboard and select “Posts” > “Add New.”
  • Copy and paste your article into the editor.
  • Format the text using headings, bullet points, and other formatting tools as needed.
  • Upload and insert the image(s) into the post.
  • Set appropriate tags and categories for your post.
  • Add a featured image if applicable.

Publish the Article:

  • Once you are satisfied with the post, click the “Publish” button.
  • Ensure the article is live and publicly accessible.

Submit the Task:

  • Provide the URL link to the published blog post.
  • Include any additional notes or comments about the process.
