Is there a price tag for being Loyal?

Loyalty. It’s such an honourable word.

I have been receiving questions about the way I do my business. For almost 15 years now, I have managed to run my business with a team on the other side of the world in the Philippines. It all started with the simple idea of how we could provide business owners with another pair of hands to help them grow and scale and run their businesses with ease.

Why do I run my business this way? Because I am very lucky and privileged to have met and worked with amazing talents. My Philippine team is composed of all Filipinos who are professionals in their fields. It all started with one person and now I have a team of five amazing individuals, with over 50 virtual assistants to support our growing client base.

So back to loyalty.

In this day and age, it can be hard to find good people who will stick with you through thick and thin. From my experience, Filipinos are very loyal and they love to stick around especially if they feel they are valued and respected. When you have a loyal team working with you, you feel secure and confident to leave them to it and move on to other activities that drive the growth of the business.

Loyalty does not have to come with a price. You can’t put a tag on it. It’s just something that will come naturally when you acknowledge, reward, and recognise the efforts of your team in getting you the results you want and working towards a common goal. I believe loyalty comes with the way you treat people and the way they see their role in your business.

Loyalty can have a significant impact on our lives. It can help us build strong relationships, achieve our goals, and make a difference in the world.

Ultimately though, loyalty is a choice. We can choose to be loyal to the people we work for and that work for us, and the things that we believe in, or we can choose to be loyal to our self-interest. The choice is ours.

I just want to show my gratitude to my team for their overwhelming support and loyalty over the years and for ensuring that the business runs well and smoothly.

After all, there is no “I” in TEAM and I love you all for the love you have for VE x
